With everyone’s cooperation and efforts around New Zealand, we can now start seeing patients again this Thursday, 14 May 2020 under Alert Level 2. For Bays Dental, this means we can now start booking appointments for all routine procedures.
As you can imagine, there is a long waiting list and we will work through the queue according to urgency (e.g. broken teeth/fillings, pain) and also those that have been cancelled earlier on during the Lockdown period. We appreciate your patience and we will work our hardest to book you an appointment as soon as we can.
During Level 2, we still request conscious physical distancing, meticulous hand washing and sanitising from both our patients and our team. The team may be wearing additional PPE depending on the procedure being performed. We will continue to have regular 3 hourly wipe-downs of high touch zones around the public areas. The COVID battle is far from over and we all need to still be considerate of others and continue to keep personal hygiene to a maximum. Please attend your appointments alone, leaving family members at home or in the car.
Please stay home if you have any signs of mild cold/flu including coughing, sore throat, runny nose and fever. We won’t be offended if you call us to reschedule, in fact we want to “thank you” for your honesty and keeping everybody safe. If you turn up unwell, we apologise in advance, we may send you home to rest.
We missed you and look forward to seeing all your friendly faces again. Feel free to call or email us if you haven’t heard about your new upcoming appointment within the next 2 weeks.
See you all soon.
Warmest regards,
Bays Dental Team.
